CAN, the 'Fulani' herdsmen and the Presidents
Before
the 2015 elections, some Men of God threatened to open the gates of hell to
anyone who opposed the President then – Goodluck Jonathan. The Christian
Association endorsed Jonathan – who one of his loudest aides compared to Jesus
Christ, for another tenure. At that time, the blood of thousands killed due to
insecurity was at its highest boiling point.
Boko
Haram was at its peak in Nigeria, no need to say more on this. Under the man
who he clearly failed to provide security for Nigeria and her citizens, not only
in the North-Eastern Nigeria. The top Christian body and some followers then
see Boko Haram as a Northern-Muslim agenda to prevent Jonathan from leading the
Country. Boko Haram was only the doing of the terrorists and its victims, the
President was never responsible for all they did, said the country’s constitution
then.
Less
than 4 years later today, we have another President who has evidently tried
well to treat the Boko Haram terrorist with iron hands. Then there is the issue
of herdsmen (the Fulanis as fondly called by our Media that has shown its own side),
The Christian Association of Nigeria have now come out to blame the President,
unlike 2012 or 2014, they now remember that the #1 is the Chief Security officer of the
Nation and he should be sacked if he can’t protect Nigerians! The last time
Boko Haram went out killing everyone, it was to make the Country ungovernable
for the Southern President. The Herdsmen? They were only doing the bidding of their
Master, the President himself, this time trying to make Nigeria ungovernable
for himself with his tribe’s men, the Fulanis.
When
the Fulani’s strike hundreds dead in Zamfara, the CAN is silent, when it
happens in Kaduna, it is because one El-Rufai is the Governor (who’s a hidden
agenda like the President), when that happens in Benue, and the Governor’s name
is Buhari – who doubles as the Commander-in-Chief. When there is a clash in the South; Rivers,
Anambra or wherever, it is just some bad boys fighting over church or at worst
family clash. When rival communities clash in Southern Kaduna, the CAN will say
it’s because El-Rufai and the Imams wants to turn everyone to Muslim. The last time, CAN said
they were the major victims of Boko Haram in a 99% Muslim dominated Borno.
Even
when there is clear evidence that the Christian Association isn’t helping
matters not only with their interpretations of statistics. In 2014, one jet was
seized stacked with cash meant for weapons, after intervention of top Government
officials, the jet was released by South African Government. The jet belongs to
a father, Ayo Oritsejafor, the President wasn’t Muhammadu Buhari. An army
officer, General Benjamin Ahanotu confirmed that there was indeed a massacre in
Mambilla-Taraba State months ago. The General admitted that the State Government
sponsored attacks on innocent young men and women. ‘I saw women, children and
even animal hacked beyond description…’ He said. International press reported
this. Recently, the Voice of America reported that the Benue State Government
sponsored some militia parading as Civilian Joint task forces in the border of
Benue and Taraba. This has been happening for over a year, one of the caught
suspects in Arufu confessed. The Governor of Benue isn’t Nasir El-Rufai that
one can accuse of sponsoring criminals.
The
Emir of Kano Sanusi II told Punch reporters about the genocide on Fulanis in
Taraba State. He had pictures and evidences of pregnant women and the unborn slaughtered by Ethnic militants,
the Fulani President failed to do anything about this, an attack on his dear
tribesmen, like it’s happened in Zamfara, Jos, Numan, and Lau areas. Christian
Association of Nigeria, after carrying its own extensive security inquiry this
week discovered that the Emir was lying, again. There are evidences on the
internet that the State Governor of Taraba ordered all the suspects arrested be
released by the Police. There were many other panels constituted by the CAN with experts like
Dr. Musa Asake, which came up with a report that all the investigations by the current
IGP are false and he should be removed. This demand seems new however, it has not been
the case when Arase was the Police head few months back.
According
to the Christian body, The Herdsmen are more dangerous than even Boko Haram. When
the Nigerian Army visited Mambila, the Brigadier General who is from Southern
part of the country said: …Boko Haram is
not close to what I saw. Even at the time, the Army troops reached
Mambilla, not only young Fulani men and women, even their cows were not left
out, were burnt live. This barbaric act of ethnic cleansing never happened, according to the CAN. Can’t the
CAN be responsible and call terrorists and criminals wherever they are, as one?

ReplyDeleteMay Allah SWT reward you. I was just telling a colleague who supports this Christians' opinion that the president is not doing enough on Benue. Why would he handed the case over to the police. He posted on picture tweeted by Punch ridiculing the president.
ReplyDeleteWe have to stand to these people. We have to show them that we can read and write. We have to own media houses. We have to be heard.
And it is very painful to see some of our own helping them share their propaganda.
You've said it all. Our leaders are more interested in twisting issues relating to the country so as to favour their own political agenda.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and every other rightfully guided Nigerians who stand for truth and nothing but the truth. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria
